The ControlPanel visualizes the current machine and process data in real-time.It thus enables the current status of production and, by means of an internal memory, machine-specific production data (e. g. machine rpm) to be monitored without individual data having to be analyzed in a database. The data buffer period can be adjusted as required (e. g. 6-8 hrs).

On startup the program registers with the DataCollector and then continuously receives the current LauerBox data. More than one ControlPanel can be registered with the DataCollector, enabling several users to access data simultaneously (production planning, foremen, management, etc.). The display of sensitive data (operator IDs, time analysis) depends on user rights and is enabled by the DataCollector.

Each ControlPanel can individually signal specific machine states acustically and also enlarg the machine state icon if this is of particular relevance to the user (e. g. “Calling foreman” for the foreman’s office)
If eligible, the ControlPanel user can remotely set specific machine states on the LauerBox to provide the operator with certain information (e. g. “Foreman on the way”).
